Not much else to say, I just went ahead and made some changes to better reflect where I am now with art and profiles across the internet. Since Twitter is imploding at the moment figured I'd do something with this place again, at least to share maps and stuff that I am still working on. Plus now that I'm moving forward with a certification in GIS Analysis I need the practice and a place to post it.

That's all, cheers!

Little Preview

1 min read
I'm on vacation and doing research for a big project still that takes forever to do, unfortunately, so turning stuff out since the New England map has been a little slow, so have a little preview of a mini scenario thing I should have out when I get back from vacation, complete with a bit of pixel art to go along with it. :)

Hello everyone! Sorry it's been a while since using the Journal function, I've been focusing on other work. I come to you all now since I wanted to ask a question as far as what you all would like to see for a big future map of mine that I'll be working on in the background of some ongoing projects (I actually have a number of maps done right now but am waiting to post them all at once; sorry for that).

The map is a long-overdue sequel to a map I posted all the way back in 2014:

I bought books to research a whole TL for it and have been working on it on and off ever since, but only now really started moving forward on it. Which brings me to my question. I could, on the one hand, do the map for the entirety of North America in this world on Illustrator, using a tutorial by the illustrious and wonderful :iconarminius1871: which would look nice, but be limited by the basemap and what I can add to it.

The other option would be to try and do it on QGIS, with what knowledge of it I have now, trial and error, begging asking for help where I can find it, and tutorials. I'd be able to do more with it and probably add a bit more detail and such...but it'd take a lot longer to do almost for sure. So instead of having a new non-raster/political map on here within, say, 3 months, it may be as long as 9 months, but it'd be more detailed.

So, well, I figured I would throw the question to all of you and see what y'all think. :)

Today is Trans Day of Visibility! It's a day to celebrate and show that we are here, we exist, and we are strong, as a community of trans people. It is also a day for all of those in the closet to see us and know that they are loved, they are valid, and one day they will be seen as well. Today I can say I am a trans woman, I am visible, and I am proud. I am sending my love to all of my trans friends, whether today you are visible or not, and hope you all have a wonderful day. :) ⚧

Also, an image of yours truly, because I am visible, I am valid, and I am proud to be trans. :)

So, kinda awkward, but since it’s hard to ask anywhere else…does anyone know of an artist who accepts commissions (particularly of trans people) and are okay with doing NSFW art? Sorry to ask here, I really don’t have anywhere else I could ask easily and everyone I know of who could is not accepting commissions. Thank you all. Also sorry for anyone following me for other reasons. <_<;
